Godfathers of modern cumbia, Los Corraleros de Majagual formed in 1962 and has become an institution representing Colombia's tropical music scene. Accordion, sax and clarinets soar melodically over rhythmic tropical beats to create a joyful song that

LP21, named after their local bus stop in Puerto Rico, has dedicated itself to the performance of Puerto Rican Bomba and Plena music. Cultivated by Africans and their descendants, bomba originated in the sugarcane fields of 17th century Puerto Rico. The plena arose among urban coastal workers in the early 1900s. Both types use call and response to give a commentary on current events of the day. Founder and Director Juan Gutierrez explains, "Our music is about sharing and celebrating." Come share in the celebration!

Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends
Larry Harlow, a true living legend of Afro-Cuban music, revolutionized what is today known as salsa. In the early 1970's, he pioneered the explosive trumpet/trombone sound of contemporary salsa with the Fania All-Stars in New York City. This prolific artist has gone on to produce over 260 albums. The salsa dream team will make your dance dreams come true!

With its repertoire based mainly on Salsa Pura and Son Cubano, Son Café will bring you to your feet with their novel sound and powerful delivery. Leader, Ralph Irizarry, a virtuoso on the timbale drums, spent 13 years playing with Rubén Blades and Seis Del Solar after gaining international prominence in the seventies
with Ray Barretto's Salsa Orchestra.

Alberto de la Rosa is among the most outstanding folk harpists on the planet. Choosing the indigenous Nahuatl word for "the singers" as the group name, he founded Tlen-Huicani in 1973 in Vera Cruz where the Mexican folk harp reached its fullest flowering. Backed up by plenty of falsetto and rich harmonies, de la Rosa brings to life the cascading notes that typify this unique sound.

Conjunto Atardecer is fresh off a 2005 Latin Grammy Nomination for Best Banda Album. Hailing from Santa María del Oro, Durango in northern Mexico, they became an overnight regional success with their debut Con Todo El Corazón. Just 10 months later their second release, Atardecer Canta Corridos, spread like wildfire through the region and ignited a following in both Mexico and the U.S.
