Bring your family to enjoy some fun at the McDonald’s Family Fun Time Area! Kids may have the opportunity to meet Ronald, enjoy face painting/washable tattoos, coloring activities or participate in a soccer kick. Families can learn about the history of McDonald’s and the Ronald McDonald House Charity and also sign up for a chance to win a children’s bike. Ronald will announce the winners each day at 5:30 p.m. from the Bicentennial Stage. Those looking for employment are invited to come see our job opportunities. |

Caribbean
Shell Bracelets- People
who live by the Caribbean Sea often use shells and other
items from the water to make jewelry. String together
shells and beads to make your own beautiful bracelet.
Mexican Flowers-
These big and beautiful flowers are used in Mexico
to decorate on days of celebration. Join the members
of Las Damas Latinas as they help children make these
colorful creations. |

Vejigante Masks
- Celebrate the spirit
of Carnival in Puerto Rico with artist Kenneth Melendez
as he helps children make their own vejigante mask.
Ancient
Weaving- Weaving was an
important part of ancient Latin American cultures such
as the Aztecs, Incas and Mayas. For some of them, intricate,
hand-woven cloth was used as money. Create a wonderful
weaving that celebrates these cultural traditions.

¡Maracas!-Many of the musicians
at Festival Latino use maracas in their songs. Like
timbales or congas, maracas are percussion instruments
used to keep the beat of the music. Paint your own maraca
with traditional Puerto Rican designs to make your own
music!
